This year we have expanded the classes, there are Adult classes are for a single Rose (vase provided), six Sweet peas (vase provided), and arrangement of Roses and Sweet peas (own vase), and a painting (any media) or photograph of a 'Summer Garden'
The children's classes (which will be split into age groups) are for an arrangement of Garden Flowers (own vase), a painting of flowers and a photograph of flowers. There will be Garden activity related prizes for the winners.
Also on the day there will be three bands including Kerouac, who will be playing at the Isle of Wight Festival this year and lots of children's games and activities.
We have really gone all out this year to make it a great traditional fun day out, we have a fire service bringing a fire engine, bouncy castles, the chance to learn circus skills and pig racing. It should be a cracking day, this might be our last chance if the council closes the school and we really want to thank the whole Island for the support they showed when we took our petition to London.
The Rose fayre is on 27th of June from 2-5pm
All classes cost 50p for adult classes and 20p for child to enter, and have to be at the school between 9.30 and 11am on the day of the show.
